Train failures Inqury - hand out fliers at local stations
The Upper House inquiry into train failures that was initiated by Greg Barber MLC begins on 21 July 2009.
We need your help to publicise the inquiry.
Can you help hand out flyers at your local train station on Monday 13 July? If you are able to help at your local train station between 7am and 10am, please email us on trainfailures@vic.greens.org.au
The submissions to the inquiry closed on 1 June, but there are still many ways that you can help the Greens in Parliament to provide Victorians with a better train system.
You can also show your support by attending the public hearings at Parliament House beginning 21 July. At this stage it looks like Jim Betts, Head of the Department of Transport and representatives of Connex will be appearing on this day. Given Connex has just lost their contract, it could prove to be a very interesting day!
